Signs, Signs everywhere are signs!

The signs are up! We have one on Highway 13 heading South, one on the small road (343rd St) leading to Old Highway 13 and one in our driveway! I have been asked about when we would get a sign on Highway 13 for those north of us. Ain't gonna happen! Those DOT signs are expensive! Sorry to those, but I get much more traffic from downtown Waseca.

We were featured in the Waseca County News about the Hwy 14 construction. Here is the link: news story

Spotlight on: Jack!

Jack

Jack is a Beagle that has been with us all summer. The house he lives in with his people, Jill, Allen and Tina was destroyed by a fire in May.

The house renovation is complete and Jack will left us in Early August. He became part of the family and lived indoors with us since the end of May. We miss him! Dewey and Dexter especially miss him! Jack had been their playmate for months!!

We will have other dogs in our spotlight series in the future, so keep watching!

Other Stuff

We are fostering dogs for Underdog Rescue and Peke N Chin Midwest. These dogs are being rescued from various puppy mills in the midwest. It feels good doing something for animals in need. Some of these dogs are very difficult to rehabilitate, but it is worth the work. Don't be fooled! 99% of dogs that come from pet shops are from puppy mills! Please adopt from rescue organizations. If you knew the horrors of puppy mills, you would never buy a dog online, from a suspect breeder, or in a pet store again.

Here is a story about a recent puppymill rescue: Puppymill Story
