About Yappy Campers:

Recognizing the importance for socialization in dogs, and the need for such a place in South Central Minnesota, Yappy Campers Day Care and boarding for Dogs was born.

Pam Wagner is a passionate animal lover. Working with animals is always something she has dreamed of doing. Pam has over 25 years of experience with animals. She was a volunteer for Pet Haven Inc. fostering dogs until they were placed in permanent homes. Pam also volunteered at the University of Minnesota Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, providing care for baby Mammals and birds.

Pam attended a seminar presented by American Boarding Kennels Association (ABKA). This seminar was on building, buying and operating a dog kennel. She has completed American Red Cross Pet first aid and CPR training, and the Tellington Touch method of dog massage. She is currently a member of ABKA, and has obtained the Certified Pet Care Technician certification. Pam is continuously expanding her knowledge of dogs with books, videos and workshops.

Pam has adopted several dogs from rescue organizations. Her and her husband Vic are currently parents to a Basset Hound named "Rhoda", and a Black and Tan Coonhound named "Blue." Both are dogs Pam rescued from shelters. They recently adopted a Miniature Schnauzer named "Dexter".
